Chapel Hill - Carrboro
HFSC is in the process of expanding its reach into the Chapel-Hill Carrboro school district to address the district's startling and inexcusable racial opportunity gap, which is the second-worst achievement gap in the country. We are hoping to mobilize and empower members of the community disproportionately impacted by the gap.
The following is a list of data sources we use to guide out work in the CHCCS district.
This is an interactive database based on civil rights data released by the U.S. Department of Education which examines racial disparities in educational opportunities and school discipline.
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
This report card provides information about school- and district-level data in a number of areas. such as student performance and academic growth and school and student characteristics.
